What? you thought ulk would play fair? well that‘s a nice joke... really made me laugh. they can‘t respect their own fucking rules and this is the second time it is happening and you know it. Don‘t bother caring juan. they will always win vcct by cheating. they would use drive-by or even rockets and then pretend it was allowed just to win so don‘t sweat it... you know VU is better than ULK and that‘s what really matters. If they cheat to win fuck them.

The pathetic words of a sore loser. Not going to address the 3-years-old incident, since I'm not sure about the details there, and I cba to get into it. But I'm pretty sure that's what got HaLL and a few others demoted for not listening back then.

So on to the topic at hand. Some fun facts to start with:
- I met you guys half way and tried to get the match started earlier so juan could "use your best lagger" (his words not mine).
- You had the exact same rules to follow as we did. You abused the sniper glitch same as us. Gudio used it. The thing is, you weren't as good at it as we were.
- Talking about rules, the original rules stated "best of 11", which would have left one team at a disadvantage by having one less defense round. I was kind enough to gift you some signs of life since the score after the eleventh round was 6-5.
- In the final LMS we even let you remake the round from a clear ULK advantage (4 of us left against 3 of your non-powerhouse players).

Thats two places where I gave you a fighting chance, and guess what?, you were still not good enough. Not even good enough to finish this from a 5-3 advantage. That's where experience and our trademark ULK confidence/arrogance pays off. Though I felt pessimistic there, no one else in our team did. "we're not gonna lose to VU, get serious", the words from someone on TS after my whining at that point in the match.

You were overly optimistic in hoping you were going to win, and I'm sorry for the disappointment. And even with us doing our best to baby you with some rules, you still didn't live up to the challenge. Hell, even the LMS should have favored you since you guys were not out of practise. Then again, if I put myself in your position, my hands would shake in awe as well.

The best part is, the one person that actually dares to voice your collective butthurt wasn't even good enough to make the roster. Good old Foxtrot, big talk, small plays. Not even big enough of a player to get a fighting chance.

tl;dr: we didn't break any rules and we did our best to be supportive towards you. You call us out on bad sportmanship and breaking the rules is completely baseless and petty. You simply weren't good enough, live with it.

Aye this is how it went down:

First round VU defends Chariot Hotels. ULK charge in and get raped, except for 2 people - KingKong and Olvido. After some brawling, it is KingKong on 1hp and Olvido with some armor against a spazzing Metalord. He takes down Kong and as for the grand end of the first round we have two warpers shooting blanks at each other for what must have been 2 minutes straight. Olvido manages to hit first and takes the round. Through all of that most of VU are certain Meta was bugged.

Second Round ULK defends office. Hazz manages to be a complete mongoloid and gives Veteran what must have been the easiest kill of his life. KingKong wipes 4 VU with his spaz and someone wallglitches VU's last man standing, whoever that was, making the score 2-0.

I think VU defended Malibu next and after Gudio snipes Zegro, we charge in and I die a very noobish death again. Seph as the last ULK standing, manages to run in circles inside the base for a minute, but gets picked off by Juan on the front stairs. VU make it 2-1.

As a result of having played like trash Hazz sits out and lets better people play in his stead. Third Round ULK defends Printworks. As I was a spectator, I didn't notice all that much, but we got picked off slowly but surely and the last thing I remember was like 3-4 VU's standing on the checkpoint with Sephiroth trying to rocket them from below. VU takes the round again.

Now this is where I'm hazy, not sure what VU defended next. I think it went  2-3 for ULK though. Then 3-3, then 4-3 for VU and 5-3 for VU. Meanwhile players come and go and get swapped out, I get to play and Amenine plays for VU. Now at this point I would like to mention that before the match I heard a lot of doubt among people as to ULK's chances of winning this, and while I remained fairly optimistic throughout, when the score hit 5-3 for VU (with them 1 point away from winning), I have to admit, I despaired too.

But we turned the tides and ULK bring it back up to 5-5 again. So we go on until the difference is 2 points. Both teams win their attacking rounds twice and it ends up 7-7. After having played for nigh 3 hours and like the old farts ULK are, we're getting tired and ask for a last deciding LMS. Juan agrees to it.

First attempt at the LMS fails due to poor luck or circumstance. So we try again. Hazz being disappointed at having to give up the first try on a 3vs4 man ULK lead, whines a lot, while rest of ULK are still fully confident. After a very fat spectator (okay, the skin is fat) manages to suitably and very stupidly block Zegro's line of fire in a tiny corridor, Zegro gets picked off by one of VU's after the fattie absorbs all his shots. Mild rage ensues, but in a few seconds he tells us with confidence still unhindered: "f*ck it, just win." And that's how it goes.

Probably the most intense match I've ever played, MTA or VC-MP. Really close game. As for man of the match, it's gotta be either Zegro or Gudio (or Veteran if/when he was sniping). The sniper battles determined the outcome of nearly every round.

Game was good, really well played VU.
