Title: Ashay Pronounced Winner
Post by: Charley on August 26, 2009, 06:19:47 pm
The finals of VCDC were conducted today. Ashay came out the winner, I'd personally like to say congrats to her!

I really enjoyed seeing everyone at the final, there was a good atmosphere, bar some people. It was good to see 2 great players fighting it out. It was also great to see the ULKs cry about lag on irc afterwards, remember guys it's just a game ;)

As far as VCDC goes, I think it was a huge success. It inspired a lot of activity within the community, and did something a bit more interesting than what we're used to. I'd like to say thankyou to all the admins who made this tournement possible. They put countless hours into it and have done a great job. I'd also like to thank VRocker, Kill3R and Strike, for hosting servers that the even could take place in.

Most of all I'd like to thank everyone who fought and had faith in VCDC, there were so many people at the start saying it wouldnt work I thought it might not at one point, but it pulled through thanks to all the supporters.

I know very little about VCDC Season 2 yet, all i know is that there will be some changes to how its run.

I think I covered just about everything.

Cheers guys

Charley

Might I be regarded as lucky ?

Ashay defeated me in the Sweet Sixteens, and the very next day my internet went berserk (Cuz I didn't pay the bill :o). She/he(still a mystery) used to keep me updated at school about the on-goings in VCDC.

I apologize to have went away without telling a word to anyone, but Ashay knew my problem.

Great job both Ashay and Tical.

I remember having written to Ashay: "Who wouldn't want to see you in Finals?"

And studies (12th Grade) may keep me busy till April next year, so if you dont hear from me, dont worry.( I know you wont worry because who wants to hear from me :o xD)

I may not play but I 'll tryna keep myself updated now.

Cheers Tical n Ashay.

Great job, the people involved, 'bah' for those who weren't involved :P .

I look forward to my FUNNIEST PLAYER AWARD.  ;)

Thanks

Mayank
