What have you learned from VC:MP? (Specially that which is applicable in your own life).

1. Give respect if you want respect.
2. Never tell a lie, because this is the key for being trusted
3. Never abuse, if you don’t like to be abused. (Do only for those who you don’t give a damn, if you really can’t help it) Friendly abuse is something else.
4. Admit your mistakes and never repeat. Another key for being trusted.
5. Learning from criticism helps you grow more.
6. I developed some sort of sixth sense(by interactions in VCMP), that helps me see what are some person’s intentions.

Lag is the real skill.
Remote Grenades are better than RPG ( over a limited range )

- Grammar / English
- Patience
- Acquaintance with the computer mechanism, video editing and photo editing that is actually useful for jobs purpose
- Ability to create own ideas, techniques instead of following others
- Admitting the wrong deeds, not always praising your good work =  Major Life Factors
- Experience that helps me to evolve in other FPS / normal games (not really a useful thing in life but in other games)
- Fast Typing

What have you learned from VC:MP?

Lots of Pakistani/Spanish/Albanian insults, not sure how much they are applicable in real life

I also learned manners and appreciation of other cultures.

If you don't get promoted in VCCNR, create your own VCCNR.

I dont think VC-MP has a direct influence over my life except improving my english. Other than that, there are some stuff I've learned/experienced during my stay in VC-MP.

Technical:

Install & maintain SMF forums
Database management,PHP, C# and a bit of Java. Building responsive web pages. (Well this bit might have been actually helpful for my current job)
Photoshop
Sony Vegas for advanced video editing
Hosting server (used to run a server called Armageddon DM in VC-MP. Didn't live long though.)

Game culture:

Being able to communicate with people from around the world. This really helps you thinking out of the box. You get to learn about how other people live.
Dedication - Putting so much dedication into games so that you know you're going to do well if given enough time.
There will be always someone to make you go astray when you're against their plans. But you will also gain friends along the way. Focus on making your time with the game worthwhile along with your friends. Ignore the rest.
Recruiting people. Helping with adaptation and managing teams.
