I explained it already that you can bind sniper mode activation key to right click (scope button) as hold bind.

I can see how people call this cheating but then again, the means and methods are out there for everyone.

Indeed they are, but just because it's possible, it doesn't mean we should allow it.

That bind would do nothing it only activates the sniping mode which will have scroll sens higher to zoom in fast. Since you can't zoom in with m4 and rpg the activated sniper mode will have no effect at all.

That's exactly what I was talking about, if his bind is meant to increase zooming sensitivity then it wouldn't be working on M4 or RPG since both are unable to zoom in like sniper rifles can.

That doesn't matter. The bind will do its job regardless of what weapon he's using whenever he presses the button.

See it this way; if he uses M4 or RPG and tries to aim in FPV with them, the bind will do what it's programmed to do which is zooming in at an increased sensitivity.
However while the bind is trying to do that, the reality remains that nothing will happen since both M4 and RPGs can't zoom in like sniper rifles can.
The gameplay is unaffected in this case.

Now if he would switch to a sniper rifle and try to aim, the bind will again do its job.
In this case the bind will have effect since the scopes allow to zoom in and out at will.
The game's mechanics pretty much restricts the bind to sniper rifles only.

The only way for that bind to have an effect on M4 or RPG is by modding either of those weps in a way that allows them to zoom in like sniper rifles do.
This is only achievable via Cleo modding.

No that is not possible, never has been since it's hardcoded into the game.
Only via Cleo modding can that be achieved.

Basically yes, only the difference here being that the clutch doesn't adjust x/y dpi sensitivity but automatically zooms in at a much higher speed than normally with sniper rifles.

Assuming this works perfectly with 0ms delay (which is to say alot in a fast paced game like VC:MP), the setting on the .ini file of the tool that controls this value, has an "_X" on the end of its name (not going to write its full name otherwise people can google it and find it, but the people with this tool can check the name themselves), which is to say it supposedly controls the x-axis aswell. On those logs I posted, it is said that it controls the zoom so what I can assume from this, is that it controls both the zoom and the x-axis, in which case the x-axis will get triggered after pressing the right mouse for all weapons that use FPV.

My main concern still stands though, which is to have a .dll that is altering game addresses, while the mouse drivers dont' change anything in the game, just the mouse itself.
