they fully reverse-engineered both GTA 3 and VC, and are incorporating many changes and improvements into their recompiled version ( they also released the code to the public ).

I don't know if this is beneficial for VC:MP but it is interesting and would like to hear your take on this.
I guess it will be very good for modding, maybe it will benefit good mods like shine'o'vice etc...

but I also think it may be taken down by rockstar ( for obvious reasons... )

I heard news that re3 repo ( the name of this project ) got DMCA'd :/

Yep (https://github.com/github/dmca/blob/master/2021/02/2021-02-19-take-two.md). I knew this would be coming so I cloned the rep ;D
