Title: [Solved]Problem with VC:MP
Post by: MaDKilleR on August 02, 2012, 08:39:30 am
Whenever i try to connect to a server, after the intro screen ( the one with the Rockstar Logo ) loads, i'm redirected towards my desktop with a beep sound and can't connect.

Any help will be appreciated.

Did it ever work? I mean, I guess you downloaded VC. Did it ever work with VCMP.
If it did not, get another VC.

I boguht two different CDs of VC before and i'm facing the same error. I had this problem in past and i fixed it to but i don't remember it anymore. Let me clear one thing more i've just noticed:-

Last time, i had the same problem with VC:MP. Besides with this problem, themes of some applications changes to classic view. I'll install Serivce Pack 3 and will check if i get the same error.

So the problem was solved by re-installing my Windows. I had Win 7 before but VC didn't worked on it so i moved back to XP SP 2. The Problem was fixed by installing XP SP 3.

Thankx everyone for your massive support.  :)

You could have just re-installed Windows 7. You didn't have to roll back to XP. I'm using Windows 7 and VC-MP runs fine.
