Lol, but the actual reality: I download torrets with arround 800 - 900 KBs and I upload with MAXIMUM 50 KBs if there are many seeders. :S
Then you have a pretty good cable. Since to get actual MB/s speed you need to divide by 8. So 8 / 8 = 1 MB/s
Which is the maximum speed you can get. So 900 KB/s isn't that bad
Mine is kinda bad, but still get more then 1.2 MB/s :x

internet rating speeds for some reason are rated in mega
bits rather than mega
bytes, i guess its to make the numbers seem large and extremely fast to those who may not be as knowlegded to computer stuff.
8 bits = 1 byte so to find ur speed in lets say MB (not Mb) u divide the speedtest value by 8
