Post by: Charley on November 05, 2011, 04:46:22 pm: So today's clan war was an interesting one indeed. VU turned up with about 15 players, MK matched this with about 10. The first match we played 9v9, VU defending and VU won.

The second match we played 12v9 VU:MK, VU won. We then dis-counted this match as the teams were uneven. So the score was set at 1-0.

We progressed to play 1 9v9 and two 8v8s, all of which VU won. For the last round, most of the MK members had left. We offered to balance teams but [MK]antY_Army wanted to get it over with, so we played around 10v6 and again, we won.

There definitely hickups in the match, the biggest being that we had to move server. But overall I thought it went quite well. It was certainly the biggest clan war I've ever seen in VC:MP.

I am extremely proud of VU, the turnout was amazing and the level of communication and tactics exceeded all of my expectations.

I'd like to pay respect to NewK and antY, who, even under pressure kept calm and voiced their opinions in a non-angry way. This meant we could try to resolve any issues quickly, instead of argueing about them for hours.

All in all I enjoyed it, I hope others did too.

I have no complaints, except for the time FaF used a car as cover and infernus (which was a ref.) got into that car and ran him over, which made FaF fall and while down he was killed by someone shooting. And then said FaF tried to evade his fight by getting in the car as a passenger, which despite of what just happened it made me laugh. :D and I don't really believe it was a honest mistake because I was spectating and I saw the whole thing.

I can recognize that VU showed more organization and played better, so kudos to that.
On MK's side it didn't turned out so great, as the members I assigned didn't show up full time, so other members which weren't so suitable had to fill in. As some of you might have noticed a few of them didn't even knew what was happening half the time.

In my opinion the last round shouldn't had started as the teams weren't even. I do know that anty agreed to start the round, however I ask that for the next time wait for the confirmation of more players not 1 only before starting the round.

I'd like thank Cutton, which was the only one making the effort to even the teams, while some members were just spaming the chat saying they didn't care and wanted to start.

I also apreciate Morphine for providing the script/server however I didn't apreciate the random flooding on the chatbox with unrelated matters.

I'd like to congratulate VU clan for the amount of active players and for the impressive organization while fighting strategically placed.
MK clan didnt had the chance to show their true skills and organization due the lack of active players and other various reasons. Maybe in some other clan war.

Anyway, aldo we could finish this CW I was hoping for better organization and patience from both sides. What I saw was a massive chat spam with some unnecessary comments.
As far as I know, both MK and VU, have already played many clan wars. I see no reason for this to happen everytime in every clan war.

I'd like to bring up Inferno's "mistake" not for flamming purposes, but to point out why referee's team would be driving cars in the middle of the fight.
Referee's Team should be neutral/impartial to the fight so that we could barely know their presence while fighting.

At the end It was actually my fault that we didnt had a really fair round and I'd like to apologize MK and somehow VU for that. I was somehow saturated with all the confusion. I guess everyone was.

But as every bad side has a good side too, I had some fun specially because I'm inactive and I like to know that VC-MP community isnt actually dead and stuff is happening everyday.
The 9vs9 combat was quick but funny too. The big ammount of players fighting for their sides made it really fun and interesting.

btw inferno made it on purpose i was spectating joojojojjojo, he's a bitch.

I think you, NewK and myself were talking about how next time we should elect 1 or 2 speakers from each clan, with the rest of the chat in teamchat. It would certainly make organising things and making decisions easier when the spambox isn't flooded (18 players all wanting to speak at once :D)

As everyone else is sharing, I think I got around 12 kills over the 6 rounds :)

I was driving with inferno in the 2nd match, we took a not noticeable route, got out of the car and shot m4. So we were shooting m4 for 5 mins, when i finally saw the server crashed ;D
