Rules for VCDC 6
In-game related rules:
These are the rules that are to be followed at all times when present on the VCDC server(s). Rulebreaking will be dealt with by warns, kicks, bans and possibly even total disqualification from the championship.
- Disrespectful behavior towards the VCDC staff is intolerable. We all have a job to do over the course of this championship and we expect to at least not be offended for doing our job.
- The VCDC staff is also expected (moreso than the participants) to be patient and polite at all times and will also take responsibility for any sort of disrespect towards the rest of the player list.
- Players are also expected to treat each other with respect, and snap back at one another only on the basis of competitiveness. Deliberate personal insults among the participants will be dealt with strictly.
- Fixing or lying about match results is strictly prohibited, and will lead to an immediate disqualification.
- Death-evading via /q is prohibited and will lead to an immediate disqualification
- Hacks and third-party tools of any kind providing advantage over your opponent are prohibited. You will be disqualified and banned from future events indefinitely.
- The ping limit is 300 and the accepted FPS range for the event is 25-60 FPS. You will be automatically kicked by the server if your ping and FPS are not stable. 3 warnings will lead to an automatic forfeit of the set.
- Timeouts and crashes will not influence the direction of a match in any way and chances to continue the match will be given.
- Punching will be allowed.
Weapon restrictions::
- Melee weapons, grenades, Molotov cocktails, tear gas, Spaz, Minigun, flamethrowers and chainsaws are forbidden during matches.
- Abusing FPV and using M60/M4 in first-person aim is also prohibited.
Organization:
- No match will be played without a referee.
- If a match is not completed on a set date, a decision on the match will collectively be made by the staff.
- Quitting the tournament after playing 2 or more matches will result in the forfeit of other scheduled matches.
- Players can not stop fighting unless both opponents consent to temporarily stopping their fight, or unless they have been asked to do so by the watching referee.
- Players are free to choose whatever server they both want to play on. If both sides fail to agree on one specific server, the match will be held on a server in the European region by default.
- Your opponent can be a referee or admin as well. In this case, another admin or referee will watch over the match. Dueling and working the referee duty at the same time is not allowed.
- If a duel ends with both fighters killing each other simultaneously, the duel will be discarded. It will not count towards the score.
- Script will no longer allow fighters to shoot before countdown ends.
- Wep command is disabled after the countdown ends. Fighters can no longer change weps once the duel started.
- Sniper is removed from the server as we found people disturbing the official matches.
