Problem

I just bought a new laptop, i downloaded gta vc and vcmp then i connected to xe server then i wait and wait till the game start but it didn't i waited for 5-6 minutes then i canceled out, anyone know the problem?
If someone bought a new pc or laptop and happened this problem to him please reply  :)

Check your firewall, and try that patch.

Thijn the normal game i mean when i play it in single player it works freaking fast but when i connect to any server i wait until this shity gta vice city logo go away, i was wondering what's the problem :'( i really want to play gta vc on this good laptop  ;D

Try running it as a different windows version. Right click the Vice city.exe and click troubleshoot compatibility. Choose run in recommended settings.

You didn't understand. You can make your windows 7 run a program like windows xp service pack 2 and such.

lol i tried installing the 240mb compressed gta vc but i got error that 16 bit programs can't run on 64 bit pc :P
had to transfer the files from laptop to new pc via usb

Are you sure you aren't loading it twice? Try checking your taskmanager if there are 2 gta-vc.exe processes.

Also, On what exactly does it hang? The VCMP logo, or VC?

Tried it, then i connected to xe server and a message appears to me says: unable to execute, wtf is that D:
