Problem with Steam

I installed Just cause 2 and left 4 dead 2.Left 4 dead 2 is working fine ,but "Searching games problem"I got it's solution i can play easily with xfire.When i click on Just cause 2 from xfire it shows this.And left 4 dead 2 is opening when i open it from its folder but cant "Join game" from xfire.When i click "join game"it same thing like just cause 2 comes.Any solution?I'm using Steam from just 1 day.Thanks in Advance.
Edit:Where xfire shows status when my steam is in tray Xfire shows that i am playing Left 4 Dead 2.

Don't use Xfire, and get to use steam, you can also activate a the key of those games, only if steam allows it or if it has an original key. I don't get at all your point. If you don't mind can you post a few screenies of whatever the heck is happening to you or whatever the heck you want to do?

Back to the topic, I kind of get your point, you are saying that everytime you try to launch a game from Xfire, Steam library shows up?

Yea,Just cause 2 news etc is showing in Steam,game is not starting.
