Title: Help! I can't boot from a windows 7 installation USB drive.
Post by: ripmemes on September 10, 2018, 04:19:28 pm
Greetings, today I faced a problem in installing windows 7 to my laptop. I extracted windows 7 setup in the USB using Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool. I changed bios boot setting so it boots from the USB flash drive(I am not sure if I did it right) and restarted the computer, it shows at first "loading windows files" then "starting windows" on the screen and after few seconds the blue screen of death appears, it says "the bios in this system is not fully ACPI compliant. Please contact your system vendor for an updated bios"
I really want to install windows 7 and I don't know what to do. HELP!

Thats not your motherboard, that's some version string in your bios. In case of a laptop, what model is it?
