Wait I minute. You don't want to "team in CTF would tend to defend their base" but offer a gamemode which is based on defence? In A/D one of the teams ALWAYS have advantage because of the base and defend order. According to you:

Besides, CTF is the most popular gamemode nowadays. People play CTF every day, they like it, but nobody plays A/D. Maybe you played A/D in your past, but as you said:

About wallglitching. Current anti-wallglitch system has a lot of flaws. I doesn't work properly. It almost excludes the usage of covers (which is one of the parts of player's skill). I believe, this "system" was implemented only for one noob-oriented server. But if you can't play with wallglitch and INSIST to play without it, we may agree to play without it.

About hacks. Many people from VC:MP (let's be honest, they are far from "good" in terms of gaming level) believe that we use some kind of hacks. Nobody can prove it, nobody can say what exactly it is, but they believe there is some mysterious ultra-hack that does all the work instead of you. That's ridiculous, but that's the reality we used to. It's something normal for us being called "hackers".
Talking about game recording. We're doing it for years already. But there are people like Yuri, 210W or Morphine who can't record. So, according to your logic, they probably use something.

WK CHALLENGES VU


CTF gamemode is the most popular gamemode in VC:MP nowadays. WK offers VU to play a Clan Match in CTF. 8 rounds: four maps from your side, four from ours. Basic regulations can be found here, but if you want to discuss some rules or have a proposition, we are ready to consider it.
This is a wonderful opportunity for VU to feel what REAL ACTION is, to have experience you've never had before.

This is the reason I don't duel at all.
And was I supposed to participate? I'm pragmatic player who knows his strengths and weaknesses. 1 vs 1 stubby duel isn't my style.

You make it sound like VC:MP has a HaveGlitchersAndLaggersWinFights function, and not that the "higher skilled "players haven't realized that the fire-and-forget shotgun switching style is unreliable now.
Lack of skills can be compensated by lags. You can't deny it.

I'm convinced that lags and glitches have a significant impact to outcome of every 1 vs 1 battle in VC:MP. I'm also convinced that lags and glitches are almost decisive things in 1 vs 1 duel format (open area without covers and shotguns as a primary weapon).
So, based on this, I'm doing the forecast: VCDC winner will be a hard-lagging glitcher.

So, according to this, IMO tournament favorites are:
[DU]Moskvish - lags hard enough to outlag the most part of VCMP players
[DZ]Noori - also a lagger, but less then Moskvish, may be better than him in glitching
[SS]anMexican - good lag coupled with of
[SS]Daniel - good representative of lag + glitch formula
[DnA]Bryce - one of the top laggers of tournamet, but lacks of skill

All of them are lag and glitch enough to win. I'm not going to make a forecast which of them is strongest.
Group stage isn't over yet, so some details may change, but IMO hard glitching lagger will win.

You may agree with me or don't. You may discuss my forecast, post your opinion or offer your favorites.
I'm not making any bet, I just post it to share my opinion and produce some discussion.

Actually reds are in good position.
First of all it isn't possible to make 89 vs 65. Server has only 100 slots. You can coordinate with your red team and take 65/100 slots and fight against 35 blues (in this case). It's just matter of coordination to get number supriority.
Secondary, blues have a lot of mobile frags like OSK clan members and others. I don't think they will manage to achieve ratio higher than 1 or do proper teamwork. So I consider them as cannon fodder and score delivers for reds.
Third, the key to win in team deathmatch is in being more powerfull (by tactic/skills/strength) than enemy's team in certain place and time.
Four, in case you loose you can complain about being outnumbered and claim your defeat as unfair.

So, Detonator, you have to turn on your brain, tactical and commandership skills.

VC:MP will stay dead if people won't move in 0.4. We were waiting 0.4 for years and now some players want to stay in outdated 0.3 with lots of bugs, lags, hacks etc.
Personally I and my mates don't have any problems with 0.4. It's stable, it has good synch (including weapon's one), little amount of bugs and lags. I see no reason to stay in 0.3 with it's huge space for lagging, hacking, glitching.

So my conclusion is:
Poverty muslim animals, laggers, hackers, glitchers with their gaming level based on lags and glitches want to stay in 0.3.
PROgressive people with good PCs and understanding the game want to play in brand new version where there are no hacks, lags and glitches.

So I'm really glad that Vice War 4 staff decided to host event in 0.4  8)

There is a well-known glitch inside the fire department building that allows glitchers from blue team shoot reds while they aren't able to resist and kill glitchers.

According the rules wallglitch from this place is allowed but I think this is unfair and make a big disbalance, so my suggestion is to add exception in wallglitch rule.

Otherwise, as Aki said, we spent time. Aren't our actions and our time deserve to accept the our victory?

All I can say for sure is that these results will not be completely nullified. Whether they will be combined with the next round's results or kept separately has yet to be determined.
