Limit on Bomber and attacker helicopters

This could be early to predict the consequences of bomber and attacker helicopter. I’d say how about if we limit 2-3 of these attacking helicopters per team at a time. Correct me if i understood the helicopter part wrong.

I'll consider it after testing in beta if it does pose an issue but at the moment, no. Aerial warfare is also a considered feature to this edition of VW, pure mayhem and massacre freely accessible to all.

There are no commands for fixing any vehicle, and once destroyed, each player has their own downtime of at best 15 minutes, at worst 45 minutes (depending on how many bases are controlled). Plus, specifically for any attack vehicle, they can only be spawned from your teams spawn zone and have to be driven to the war zone. That gives enough chance to do something about it before it actually arrives.

In-built script limitations will be made to ensure none of these tools can be used within a given area outside anyone's spawn zone, giving teams the chance to retaliate.

Not sure if anyone remembers VW3?

One of the bases perks was the ability to fly the Sea Sparrow. It proved to be massively OP and a complete gamechanger for whoever managed to take over the base.

I hope we learnt our lessons that war and won't repeat the same thing this time around. If we're going to have helicannons involved you need to impose limitations to keep balance.

As far as I know, multiple heli-cannons have never been implemented in VCMP. We always had a single sea sparrow, which gave a lot of fire-power to one of the team. This time both teams should be able to counter heli-cannons by spawning more of their own.

My concern is that old-school shotgun infantry should still be relevant rather than being cannon fodder to the excellent pilots of VCMP.

GangstaRas mentioned that the aero-base would be interior based to favor infantry when capturing and defending.
The terrain would have some patches of dense jungles with excellent tree cover, allowing players to ambush a heli.
Max altitude can be adjusted to a lower value. That would considerably reduce the 3D volume in which helis maneuver, making them easier to shoot.

for additional crazy we can add a custom anti air rifle to the server. A big and loud motherfucker with low fire rate, high damage and huge range.

set player.CanShoot=false if it is aimed player.Aim.Z<horizon level, so it can only target in the air.

would be fun to lead aim a heli with that bad boy.....dhup dhup dhup dhup     boom.  O0

disable heli kill by default, player have to buy heli kill weapon to chop players for a time limit yes.
