I still think this is the best set up as I'd much rather have some decent non-laggy duels than have to fight players with 5x my ping. I personally couldn't care less about winning an event like this but I (and I can speak for some other EU players I know) would be much more willing to participate if lag was less of a factor before maybe progressing as your regional champion.

The ones I mentioned don't disallow long range, m60, mp5, shotgun and python are still allowed. It only limits those weapons that hold a disproportionately high chance of achieving a headshot.

A legendary event deserves a classic legendary close combat fights, i agree with Charley about disallowing m4, ruger, m60, explosion etc.

How about we allow all weapons, but picking extra weapons will cost you HP.
There will be a HP cost associated with all over-powered weapons. When you spawn to duel, the overall cost is deducted from your HP.
Example:
M60, M4 - 30 HP
Ruger 20 HP
Chainsaw - 50 HP
Molotovs - 60 HP.
....etc.

No miniguns and RPG ofc

Get rid of mollies,nades and long range weps. Keep it close combat dueling championship. Getting head with m4 is too common these days. Let people show what they got in close combat skills.

M4,mol and nades allowed = no fun.
