Ah yeah, I remember you. I think maybe we never met ingame, but I remember you from the ULK forums. I guess you stuck out in my mind because I got confused between you and Ryuk a couple of times.
I seem to remember you were a good guy - and perhaps more mature than Ryuk actually. Having said that, ULK was a very different clan to what VU was and is now. We've always done things differently and continue to do so. From your app it looks like you'd like it fine here, but it's hard to say with certainty. What I'm talking about mainly is our clan ethos - we try to be inclusive, friendly and humble, which on all three accounts separates us from ULK. If you're looking for a gang who's going to roll around abusing others and starting drama, then this isn't the one for you.
As for the travelling thing, I don't think it matters. We don't place any requirements on our members to play, it is up to them how much they want to contribute. It goes without saying though that promotions in ranks only come with dedicated playtime and contribution to the clan, and so it will affect you more than it will affect the clan as a whole. Also, we love to have people here who have interesting lives and personalities - saving to travel South East Asia with your gf is fucking cool man, and I wish you all the best for the trip. I hope you're comfortable chatting about toilet issues with each other already, otherwise that coul get difficult
Bearing in mind what I've said above, and that you've only just started playing again and there's a chance that you'll not enjoy 0.4, I think trainee would be a good rank for you.
