Guys, this is pointless, the bug might have been lame 'n all, but this topic won't help either side. Let's just leave it with the past, okay?

Naw man, this is fun, and Juan said he didn't mind.

And besides, Gudio abused the glitch throughout too, I just did a better job at it :)

General Discussion / Re: ULK vs MK [Semi Finals ] - 6 : 2
« on: March 30, 2012, 04:52:07 pm »

yeah, to confirm I did worldghost and headshot 3 of you through the wall.

sure the glitch is 'lame', but it is no less lame than any of the other glitches that either only a minority knows, opponents do not know, or the list of glitches I use when I play A/D

you're trying to quantify this glitch as worse than other glitches that are not banned, which simply shouldn't be the case. This glitch is not an abusal of something that will get me a guaranteed kill, nor give me a significant advantage.

The only advantage from using this strategy over using any other strategy is it forces enemies to defend outside of the base, and makes walls and obstacles invisible but still solid to you, a disadvantage.

you're saying this bug should not be allowed, but this person is still very easy to kill and the glitch is very easy to avoid...it's a very close minded way of thinking about things, especially when other glitches that are allowed (ie: wallglitching as the glitch, not the whole world-ghosting and wallglitching thing) are often harder to avoid and yet allowed.

I pride myself in having good knowledge of the game, and the glitches and features that the game has to offer...banning this glitch would not be getting rid of an unfair advantage (especially now the glitch is known, it's not that much of an advantage at all), but gimping those who spend time looking around the game by banning the fruits of their labour.

Semifinal round number one. Miami Killers versus the first team of the United Legion of Killers.

Arrange a date most suitable to you.

this Sunday at 19CET (18:00GMT/BST) sound good?
if that's too short notice we should probably shift it over to next weekend

North point mall car park
the guardian angels carpark. They're pretty similar but not exactly the same. whether you put it on the top/middle floor doesn't bother me

for anyone who wants to check, there'll be a video there somewhere^, remove the space. I didn't set my screen resolution properly for broadcasting so you can't even read it but I can't redraw just because you can't see. I read it out in my hot voice anyway
