Title: R1 or R2 ?

Hello
We gonna start VCDC Season two within few weeks but we need your suggestion about using R2 or R1 release.

Here it a poll for you !

We will be having another voting for fast switch if r2 is selected.

After I saw the results I am changing my vote to R1, Just because RC2 is still abit bugged and has a different fighting style.

Seems player haven't got used to r2 sync and fast switch.
VCDC Season 2 will use R1 Release and have fun !

i vote for R2 , mainly for the stability and less crashes (which shouldn't  occur for normal fighting unless grenades/rockets are being used) and why not use R2 , almost all the bugs are being sorted by the devs and it should be bug free soon and i guess the time we start the vcdc2 , r2 would also be bug free

and other +'s for using the R2:

Frame Limiter could be controlled by the server (i.e Globally ON, so less moan when lost :P)
Less crashes and more stability ( so there need not be any confusion whether to restart the fight or just continue like that )

@ Tical, Strike: i guess you are aware that Fast switch can be disabled if needed :P
/me votes for R2  ;)

P.S: i could start a r2 server for vcdc fighters to train and get used to the sync :)

Ill go for R2.
The main aim for VCDC is to increase activity in vcmp.
Now, R2 is release, we should move on.....

well yeh i gues axxo is right and, i could only participate with r2 since i had all vcmp erased since i formatted ma pc and im just installing r2... but i mean if the main vcmp players wunt r1 den  gues ima have to miss out on season two. but it will be nice to try it on r2, but its up to the voters

Well, just a guess... Don't know if it might be confusing but, wut about if it's player's choice? Like
A wants rc2
B wants RC2
Then those should be together on RC2, The others who wants to be on RC1 battle on RC1... It would give activeness on both releases. BUT we would need 2 servers both for each release, that would be a fucking cunt to put on, and would generate lag.

And I agree with aXXo, like alot.

The problem for me with RC2, is that when fast switch disabled I am not able to jump after I shoot.
And i never fought without that, And its very hard to adjust that style before VCDC is gonna start...

Edit: Just saw Knucis' Posts, This will indeed generate alot of lag.

adjustment problem is for everybody...
im sure no one has been to enough practice in the beta tests.
So, imo it is fair for everybody.

Looking at the future, ofc R2 will be played....so in the end everyone has to get used to fighting style, so why not now?

Though MTAVC players might be a lil comfortable with stubby
