what about the last VCDC? you guys allowed m60 m4 etc or didnt you? im not sure about the 3 edition but i guess it wasnt allowed, however close combats aint that popular anymore i wouldnt remove m6 or m4,

plus 1v1 fights should begin being close to the enemy like 5-10 metters away or so, that wouldnt let the m4 whores enough distance to do their m4 whoring properly so i see no prob with it.

indeed, distance should be kept less, In case m4 is allowed.

It's always necessary to balance things in events - there is no 'normal' way.

Season 1: Only stubby
Season 2: Shotgun/Stubby, Colt 45/Python, Uzi/Tec 9
Season 3: Stubby, Shotgun, m60, Tec-9, Python, Katana
Season 4: All weapons except melee weapons, Grenades, molotovs, tear gas, rocket launcher, spaz, minigun, flamethrower and FPV with M60 and M4.

I still think all pings should fight each other, but wep balance is necessary given VC:MP game dynamics. If M60 poses a real issue fighting laggers, then the solution should be to prohibit it, not to allow everything else.

FPS with m60 and m4? i guess you mean FPV dont you? sorry i didnt get that, anyway i'd be up for either repeating VCDC2 rules or VCDC3's with the addition of m4(VCDC4's at all), VCDC1 ones seem old fashioned.

And yes I am not sure about M60 but M4,should not be allowed as we all know it is is no longer difficult to make headshots by changing sensitivity. It will not be close combat and it will ruin the event.
