 How to achieve that?? Just hang out with people.

In the neon-lit streets of Starfish Island, a war is brewing between the Sunray Cartel and the Vercetti Mob.

The Cartel, originating from Colombia, seeks to expand their drug empire and avenge the demise of the late Ricardo Diaz.
Meanwhile, the Mob, rumored to be a fractured organization reeling from the loss of their legendary boss Tommy Vercetti, still holds significant power in Vice City.

Both factions vie for control of the Starfish Mansion and the cocaine trade around the central island. Blood will flow, bullets will fly, and the legacy of Vice City hangs in the balance. Who will emerge victorious? Participate in Vice War X - The Starfish Showdown to determine the outcome.

The event will start at 00:00(midnight) on 30th June 2024 and run for 24 hours.
Unofficial start time is 23:30 29th June, as we will be running some tests in the grace 30 minute period. It may or may not be accompanied by server restart or stats reset.
The schedule is tentative and subject to changes based on voting. Please keep yourself updated on staff announcements.



Features




Grandest VC:MP Event

Vice War is a one-day VC:MP event where the entire community is split into two teams to battle it out for 24 hours. This will be the 10th edition of Vice War, scheduled to be organized this summer.

We are proud that the previous edition had 308 participants and saw more than 90 players connect to the server as the event commenced.



Starfish Island - Sunray Cartel vs Vercetti Mob

The Vice War will be contested in Starfish Island and the surrounding water bodies. Expect a lot of action in the tightly packed island.

The battles will have a lot of variety including the long-range bridge control skirmishes and close quarter battles inside the Starfish Mansion. We will get to experience a mixture of land and Sea combat as the game mode offers a lot of Speedboats and Skimmer action.



Vice War X is themed around '80s Miami Vice, original to GTA Vice City roots, and features a traditional, simplistic TDM game mode that everyone likes.

There is no limit on the number of members for either team, so teams are required to gather support by inviting as many players as possible to join their team.

VC:MP’s player base has declined significantly in recent times, but we hope the nostalgia and the community’s bond are strong enough to gather a record number of players one more time.



New Round System
Vice War has tended to be one-sided in previous editions. A strong team gains a lot of points quickly making a comeback impossible.
This time, the 24 hour event is being split into 7 rounds of 3 hours each. There will be a 30 minutes break in between the rounds.
This system allows a losing team to re-strategize and attempt a comeback in a fresh round with equal scores. We hope this will extend the duration of competitiveness.

The game mode will also have some provisions to grant bonus side missions to the losing team for reducing the points gap.

Additional Comments: I have a genuine passion for helping others and believe that being a VU member would allow me to contribute positively to the community. I have a deep understanding of the community dynamics and believe that I can use this insight to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment as a VU member. I know more VU's.
To be honest, I wasn't interested in DM servers. I've been playing VCCNR and I'm an administrator there. About my VCMP, I've been playing VCMP for almost 2 years I have acceptable skills. I was rejected in my previous application  with the reason that Everyone didn't knoe mr. Most of the peoples know me with the name of Balouch. I feel I am ready to join this family. I have a positive attitude and am able to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, making me well-suited for handling difficult or sensitive issues that may arise. I have excellent communication. I am kind heart and good person. I'm applying here because I know that is the best choice.
