Would take an entire engine revamp, considering they used source engine for >10 years.. Unlikely imo

I still play AOE 2 online on game ranger and voobly xD

I played on voobly for a few years until I could play AoE 2 DE beta and then bought it 2 weeks ago. It adds more civs, campaings and new mechanics that makes it easier to manage (like reseeding farms without having to pre-buy them in the mill.). Also it's a lot smoother and most importantly, hasn't lost that AoE 2 feeling.
