Title: E=mc^2

Just an interesting series of videos I thought I'd share with you. Pretty interesting how Einstein's discoveries lead to a mix of life and death to the world.

Was his formula proven wrong though? I've heard about it many times and I've not found a valid essay about it yet.

Well, you know, nothing can go faster than light/photons. That's the basis of the Theory of Relativity by Einstein. (Hence the formula). BUT. They found something really interesting called Neutrinos, which can go faster than 300 000 kms^-1.

If this is proven right. ALL THE FUCKING THEORY OF RELATIVITY will decay.

Although, Neutrinos could be taking "shortcuts", not actually going faster than light, which means: Interdimensional travel (which means 4D shortcuts). If this is fucking true, we'll be travelling interdimensionally in less than 200 years! Imagine seeing an hypercube (a 4th dimensional cube. With X,Y,Z,?).

This is really confusing, but awesome at the same time.  :P

Very very cool formula
And Einstein said in this formula, that the energy in the human body can destroy a planet, i'm so surprised.
Just image if humans in future discover how to take human energy and destroy a planet, lol
Very Interesting Morphine

If Energy does equal to mass times C (the speed of light) SQUARED, then a cup of water could keep a town such as London alive for a week. (Quote from the video)

And about the Neutrinos, if they've proven to be faster then it's all set. Albert's probably laughing watching from up there and wondering why it took them so long.

If Einstein's theory is wrong then people have believed in the wrong things for about 70 years now. :p

Doesn't have to do much with Math really, lol.

What is E=mc^2 btw? A formula? I already know the ^2 stuff (^3, ^4, etc.)

E stands for energy, measured in Joules.

m stands for mass, which is measured in most standards by the kilogram (KG).

C stands for the speed of light in vacuum which equals to 3 x 10^8 m/s (meters per second).

The ^ before a number symbolizes that it is an exponent of something. You multiply the number which the exponent is put on by itself by the amount of how many numbers there are in the exponent.

Let's say 2^2 = 2 squared. You multiply two by itself twice etc etc.

Oh wait, I just remembered this stuff from Physics :D

3^3 = 27, no? If that's what you mean.

3^3 = 27

Yep its 27

Very Interesting Morphine

It's called anti-matter. Anti-mater unlike normal matter has a positive electrons and a negatives protons. Once anti-mater interacts with normal matter they cancel each other out and turn into pure energy. 1g of it would re-create Hiroshima. Extremely small amounts of anti-matter can be create in the LHC, but it all comes with multi-billion dollar electric bills. So there's no thread of our planet exploding... yet.

Indeed :P
Physics is less then 50% maths, maths is based of physics.
Everything is based of physics really...

Wait. Isn't physics based on math ??? I mean there was math before there was physics, thus physics is based on math  ;D

MATH WAS BASED ON PHYICS AND MATH AND THOMAS EDISON CREATED THE LIGHTBULB AND ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL CREATED THE LIGHTSWITCH

Physics is based on Maths, not the opposite.
Since the humans were still monkey-like creatures they started to create the numbers.

Well in physics you must understand what you are studying before applying any mathematical formula.

It is all Science, the study of nature.
When things get too complex, they get classified into different fields.
So that the responsibility of exploring the natural phenomenons is shared with number of field experts.

Yes it is, as the fundamentals of chemistry lie in the structure of matter, atoms etc, which is explained (or people aim to explain it) by physics.

So who is your fav scientist?

Mine would be Newton.
Every scientific work got its roots deep down into the basics, which were owned by Newton :)

Einstein probably.

Any physicist really.

Love universe related stuff. Specially multiverse theories, its origins, time itself, paradoxes, more than 3 spacial dimensions. Stuff like that :D
