I know it may sound a little bit odd, but I'm quite curious if any fellow VCMP players are fond of exergames, specifically Ingress or Pokemon GO.

(also, this post was made for the purpose of getting new friends to send gifts on GO  ;D)

Ok, so I don't know if this post would fit in here but I'll post it anyways.

So, yeah, basically, as usual, I'm hoping on and off vcmp for quite a while and recently I picked up again onto it (while in uni, yeah, I know, sounds ridiculous). I'm just tired of writing "away" posts and actually never replying to them whenever I'm actually back. Or maybe I'm too lazy to write it... but that's something for another time.

Anyways, I don't want to stretch this post to become a Bible chapter or anything like that so I'll try to make it as short as possible. Some of you may or may not have seen me playing on LW's recently. Everyone gave me a heartwarming "welcome back" for like I don't know which time. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing that I'm still welcomed by old and new players (and of course, by you VU members, love y'all <3) and this fills me with positivity created by you guys, and I can't thank you enough for that.

The reason why I was so inactive (and still partially am) is the one I left for uni, currently my first year in Economy of Entrepreneurship so really for the first time of my life I don't have much time on my hands to play games (even though I play vcmp now lol, gotcha xd).

I joined LW's recently because I needed to catch up on some stuff. If I haven't made it clear with this post, this is my first time visiting the forums in a while. So many new members joined the clan and I haven't been here to congratulate you or even share some time with you aswell. So, congratulations fellow VUs! :)

It's just a shame that I don't spend much time with you guys, but eventually life happens and you don't get used to doing the same stuff as you used to do and that's what brings me down. I'll try to make up for it and try to engage more with you guys in any way possible. VU is my home, and I'm proud of it, so I need to make it right.

As for communication on how to get in touch with me, I gave up on IRC because that would mean I should make like my fifth or sixth account there since I don't use it that often and one month really passes too fast for me so I don't even connect to it lol. BUT, lately I've been active on Discord so if you want to chat with me, rant about why this years'

Yeah, that's pretty much everything I got to say. And it turned out to be a long ass post. Starting to feel like Charley  ;D

There's a visual novel cruising around going by the name Doki Doki: Literature Club. Any fellow players picked up on it? And if you have, any thoughts? Perhaps happy thoughts?  :)

Hello, guys! It's me, Pleyo!  :D

It's been a while since I last logged on here (and been active in the VCMP community at all) and I thought to myself "hey, I could spare some of my free time to check on my pals in VU :D". I'm not planning to become as active as I used to be because I'm finishing secondary school so since it's my last year, I'm preparing (kinda  >:D) for college so I'm studying more than usual and log on the computer just to watch shitty Vine compilations xd. I'm sure I missed a lot of meetings, a lot of promotions (congrats, guys weeeee 8)) and a lot of messing up on lw's, xe or whatever the actual server is, but I'm just not actually able to play. I may log on, but I'm pretty rusty so pls don't judge hehe. I'll try to become more active on the forums because it's not the game that connects you, but the people you play with. But time will show if I'll be part of some new Vicewar crew or messing up all day long on SvM with TeamSpeak on  O0

So yeah, you could say I'm (partially) back. (I'll try to set up IRC too, but meh too lazy  :blank:)

Reason: I'm starting to work this summer, so I won't be able to be in-game, forums and IRC that much often as I used to be. The work isn't so hard, though... only thing I need to do is rent scooters and hoverboards, but I work 12 hours a day (but it's a nice payout :D)

Recently I discovered a really nice webshop for games (maybe you heard of it). It's G2A, a webshop with best prices for games. For instance, you want to buy a game from Steam and you find it very expensive, G2A is the perfect solution. A Steam game which costs $30 can be easily bought for $15 (or even less!). In addition to that, there is "G2A Goldmine", which is the profit generator. For instance, if someone clicks my referral link linked to a game on G2A and that particular person (referred to as "person A" from now on) who finds the game interesting and wants to buy it, I will recieve 100% of the game cost and "person A" will automatically join my team. But if "person A" creates a referral link to the exact game and someone else clicks it (from now on referred to as "person B"), "person A" will recieve 100% of the game cost + I will recieve 60% of the game cost because "person A" is on my team. The same goes if "person B" does the same: he gets 100% of the game cost, but I recieve 40% of the game cost because he's too on my team. Isn't this great?

So, I've a got a new laptop like 3 weeks ago. The laptop didn't have any OS when I bought it, but a guy that knows with computers installed Windows 8.1. Now, the problem is that I can't run any game that requires DirectX 9.0 (or higher) because I can't update DirectX. I tried everything, and I can't run GTA:SA, nor GTA VC. I'm just screwing around Minecraft... :P

Any suggestions about solving my problem? Is there a way that I can install DirectX manually and not with an installer?
