Vc-mp Resolution problem

I changed my Vice City resolution to 1280 .786 ,but when i open vcmp and connect to any server resolution is default.I use 1024 resolution in Gta iv and it works fine even i record it without lag.
my pc specifications
Intel Core quad
4 Gb ram
1 Gb Nvidia Ge Force 450 Card

I'd suggest you keep those comments for yourself, if u don't have nothing to say just don't.

So here is my theory the way I see things is, check the compabillity on the Vice City exe, there should be something like 'always use 640xblah resolution' remove the tick if its ticked. Thats the least that I can think of at the moment.

Or always run as admin.

I'd suggest you keep those comments for yourself, if u don't have nothing to say just don't.

Did you set the resolution in singleplayer? Did it work in singleplayer?

Yea ,i clicked vc exe and then options>Display >Resolution.Resolution is working fine in Sp

GTAVC UserFiles> Delete gtavc.set,go single player,change resolution and go to ULK European server.

Damn my laptop has even worse specs then yours but its still better lol. Is it possible to run vcmp on higher resolution without lags/FPS lags on my old laptop.
Specs: Intel Penthium Dual Core, 2GB ram, some sort of shitty "video card" (if anyone can find out wich video card my laptop is using then reply: Samsung NP-R510 manufactred in 2008, modelnumber: NP-R510-FA06NL)

done that last year and it dint show the video card.

It wasn't my pc problem.It's vcmp capability problem.You can use 624 resolution on wind 98 capability mode.
