hardware issues...

so.. dunno what happened to my video card but it seems i have some texture stretching issues, in every game i play.
Tried googling for some answers and my conclusion is... a replacement.

I can indeed play the game and all but i dont wanna be bothered with pointy palm trees and buildings covering half my screen :P

I may not play for a while since I dont have enough money for a new card at this moment.

hopefully you won't kick my ass out of the clan hehe, I will get back as soon as possible.

Have you tried changing the ratio and resolution? Updating the video drivers too?

i tried everything. Every setting possible in catalyst control center, any combination of settings you can think of.
I also updated all my drivers. I tried to tweak the games graphics, various reboots, basically everything I was told in the forums I've searched.

I appreciate your help but i don't think theres an easy solve for this one...

@ XGamer: ati hd4350 (do NOT ever buy this card or any ati card for that matter, I always had issues with ati cards)

Sorry, but I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 graphics card on my laptop and I haven't had any problems with it so far.

Just reinstall your windows(if its 7).Because windows 7 sets the suitable drivers automatically.

If you're gonna buy a new card, buy nvidia, ati sucks donkey balls.

Its no longer an Ati, its AMD now. I bought a Sapphire HD 6750 2-3 months ago and its working fine. Nvidia has worse GPU's than AMD, but Nvidia's cards consumes less power than AMD's.

i got windows 7 though this has nothing to do with drivers. I also tried removing the card to clean the dust off and what not, still the same issue.

I'm gonna try and put it in a friend's computer but im already anticipating the outcome :P

anyways if you see me online its cause i took over my gf's laptop hehe
