VC:MP General / Re: [ON] clan - a bunch of cheaters?
« on: July 19, 2016, 11:48:55 pm »
Permabans, 1 year bans, all a that shit is just gonna bring retaliation in my eyes
According to this logic we would never ban anyone for anything ever, because of fear of retaliation, since pretty much everything these days brings retaliation. We have players DoS'ing servers when they get banned or impersonating, ban evading, etc... there's always retaliation. Also that aspect does not worry me as much since with the latest addition of client side scripts to VC:MP, we can better detect the usage of these hacks. It's not a bulletproof way but add that with video proof and it's more than enough to make a decision on whether someone is cheating or not.
Nah, misunderstanding. I'm not implying bans shouldn't be out of fear of retaliation, nor am I saying that they shouldn't be banned but I'm just looking at a bigger picture of what we're going to do to them to let them learn from all this. To me it just doesn't make sense they come here, confess all they have to confess, we give them this everlasting ban and then they decide its bullshit and start to ban evade and think of even more clever ways to make and distribute more hacks in the community. There will always be malicious minded people sure but I'm a guy that hopes to instill in persons some sense of integrity at the end of the day, I just don't think banning alone is going to leave that kind of a influential mark

A long ban instead of a permanent one acts as a way of regulating player behaviour just lke you said.
One year for all is too long. It's like death penalty in server. They will evade it and will be in illegal status, then they will get bans for ban evading and so on. Do you want it?
Long ban is good for only a hack's creator and for people who shared this hacks for others (ban for them should be a bit less than for a hack's creator). If people just used it without any type of sharing they should be banned as normal cheaters with shorter period. If player was just [ON] member and not used the hack he should be not banned at all. I hope the collective punishment will stay in middle ages. It's my option about that.

I agree with this but I don't think there's any real suitable punishment that will truly teach a lesson. If I were in their shoes, 1 year ban is as vito said a death penalty, in my eyes 1 year vs permanent makes no difference, I might as well got the permanent. I'd find every way under the sun to ban evade throughout that time if VCMP matters to me that much. I'd make my hacks behind closed doors and watch my distribution to players instead of publicly distribute them in the clan like a free for all. In the end we wasted our time stressing over these hackers as no lesson was taught and no morality was instilled in their heads.

Stormeus made mention of extraordinary situations require extraordinary actions to be implemented. This is true but I'm not in agreement with where the energy is, you've explained it well to me before but I personally think that rather than worry about what ban these people should get, your extraordinary action should be on implementing in VCMP's code ways to completely block these hacks from running and let's make it stable. If it so happens that 1/2 of VCMP players can't connect when you're done, don't look at it as something to roll back, look at it as there's more hackers in VCMP than we know. As long as people with clean copies of GTA VC can connect, then you have done your work well. That's the only place a lesson in hacks will be taught. Permabans, 1 year bans, all a that shit is just gonna bring retaliation in my eyes

General Chat / I have returned

Well 5 weeks is finally up, but honestly it doesn't feel like 5 weeks, feels more like 3 but I'm back on the block guys  ;D. Someone fill me in on all the VCMP headaches like what's been happening in the clan, where the hell is EAD website, what happened to 2 v 2, you know the works

Oh and for those wondering about the bodybuilding goal from the warehouse work, I found out that if you build muscle there, it's actually because you're stupid in your approach to work. So some manual labour is done but it's really all about working smart and not hard. Be that as it may I gained 10 - 12 lbs there, whole lot of hamstrings, lower back and moderate shoulder action going on. I thank them : :D

Consider it popular in all ex-colonial countries of the UK that still have some ties to the queen as the Head of State. For example in Jamaica, it is viewed basically as like a father that went out to gamble his family's money and lost everything, so now the father's broke which means he can't help his offspring ----> UK's strength declines, less money to help our country

Away Board / Summer Job
« on: June 18, 2016, 11:47:50 am »
Reason: Heh, from I've made a topic like this you know it's a special kind of inactive  ;D. Well I got a new summer job at a warehouse. Pretty taxing on the body but I like it because it's helping a bodybuilding goal I wanted to start this summer. I live pretty far from the warehouse however so going to and from work requires me to sleep as I get home and wake at like 4 am to arrive early so throughout the weekdays, there's no hope of seeing me anywhere. I'll be around on the weekends though, mostly Saturdays if I'm not going out and maybe some Sundays

Date from: already started from Monday, June 13

Date until: July 15

VC:MP General / VC:MP Vines
« on: May 19, 2016, 12:13:26 am »
Let's start a "Vine" trend in VC:MP. Post your best and funniest highlights from your captured footages, whether its epic wins, WTF moments, close calls or epic fails! I'll take them all but on the following conditions:

  • No videos, must be GIF images
  • GIF is has to be a 4 second loop; do anything you can to get the message across in 4 seconds
  • No oversized pictures, use "width=<insert number>" inside the img BBCode (without the <>) to keep it small enough
  • Use a phrase/come up with a title that best describes what's going on in your pic. Remember I said phrase, no long descriptions and keep it clever

Like This:

Shot Blocked

Team Epidemic

"Friendly Fire"

Package Pickup

Sleeping with the Fishes

No Land Zone

We look forward to see what crazy stuff happens on your screen  :). Give us a good laugh/wow moment

What makes you think you're ready to apply after your last application?
http://viceunderdogs.com/index.php?topic=6830.msg76563#msg76563
I tried my best to hang out with allmost all the active VUs, I worked on my anger, i was short-tempered as pointed out by Shawn. I talk to everyone in a kind and friendly way, even if someone talks to me in a rude way. Worked on my fighting skills with TzUnam and others. After giving up stress on all the above things for a month, i applied here again and will continue applying here till i get accepted.  :D
When that happened?
I can attest to that, he's been putting out effort alright and I commend him that it wasn't in annoying ways (for me at least), so I vote trainee

Ulrich I should've been the one to bring you back years ago. I even forgot why you left but welcome back mate  ;D

I have GTA5 and I get roughly 60 fps maxed out at 1024x768, and around 48 fps average max out at 1080p. Cuz of my CPU I hit 39 fps sometimes driving through the city at 1080p, 44 fps sometimes at the 1024 res but its rare, definitely not all the time, fairly rare. If I had an i5, it would be ~55 fps at all times.

The minute I turn off hyperthreading on my i3 to effectively make it a Pentium, GTA5 cannot run beyond 40 fps and it dips into the 28 fps levels. That's just for anyone who thinks they can cheap out and buy the overclockable Pentium. Worst decision you will ever make
