There has probably never been a topic like this one in the history of this clan but I request your help from the broad community my friends, my fellow clan members, and VC:MP players.

In Jamaica currently, there's a competition called "Story of Excellence" where the president, CEO, leaders etc. write a short summary of how over the course of a charity's/community organization's life have impacted the lives of others in a positive manner.

Such are the stories is from my friends named Jordan Bennett. He is the founder of the "Feeding of the 5000" Outreach Foundation. He made his charity at age 17 back in 2012 and his goal was well...to feed 5000 people. Over the 3 years he has passed that goal and has fed at least 6000 Jamaicans across the island. His highly noble efforts at such an age has made him iconable figure and he has been awarded the Prime Ministers Youth Award in the category of Youth in Service as well as other awards.

If you ask me, personally I don't like the idea of having to win a sponsor but such is the way of this world where no matter how noble, how selfless and caring you are, money determines your actions & impact in some way but I digress. I ask that all of you who have Facebook accounts, take the time to vote for his story so that he has a chance of winning the monetary funds he needs to keep up the charity; share and spread the word if you wish. I have one final word though regarding this and this is especially for the younger folks in the community currently. I've been here for a lot of years and the one thing I can assure you as a life lesson is that that old saying of what goes around comes around, you reap what you sow? Be kind and virtuous to everyone you meet because you never know when or how you're going to need their help. Even if you don't receive any help, be humble & never stop because good does come back if you hold the faith.

Couple years back I tried to get into scripting but I was brutally reminded why I didn't get started with it. I can't seem to find a proper compiler for these things. I was recommended Squirrel on the grounds that Pawno is being abandoned so to say so it's better to learn this one for 0.4 but I got utterly confused finding a compiler for this thing. With no real guidance anywhere I ended up installing SQuirrel SQL Client that piece of crap is a real headache to just get going typing some code. So my question is what is it that you guys use to actually write your scripts? Is it just ghetto style Notepad++, "Save As" action and hope for the best for no errors or do I have the tools but cant set them up.

The other day one of the denied applicants sparked my attention that there are servers currently hosted for 0.4. Went to download that bitch but the install wont continue unless vcredist(x86) is installed. I'm on Windows 8.1 and I installed the 64 bit version of vcredist easily, but this 32 bit version refuses to work with me to continue the install. Is there anyone on 8.1 64 bit and have 0.4 working?

would anyone out there that has thrown away an authentic Windows 7 or even 8 and dont have use to it anymore, could you message me the key it has for the operating system? I want to turn from the pirated life but money is not of my favour as I prepare for university. The specific reason why I want 7 or 8 is because it doesn't require a format to install the OS, all the files and documents are moved to windows.old

Like last year, regarding my CXC examination (which went well by the way), I have to depart between the time-frame of relatively now till about June 12 for my CAPE unit 1 examination. Wish me luck

I honestly hope that this is my illusion of some of the clan members but I have doubts I'm being fooled. Now this is to everyone but in particular the rookies and the trainees.

This was and SHOULD be a clan without bias. There is this ever on-going, push-pull, prejudiced dance where the level rises and falls. It happens in big mishaps, it particularly happens in application forms, it rarely but still happens in ideas for events, servers, so on. We have a owner/leader, co-leaders, full members......a ranking system. The leader enforces what he wants, co-leaders follow, enforces it to the full members, full members follow, and it goes down till it reaches the trainees, forming a united systematic clan of respect which the leader approves of. All of that is fine and dandy but where does the biased opinions come in now?


Example 1:

I post this very message but I am not eminent to the crowd per se. My replies to this message: "oh what you talking about? we not like that" or something.

The leader of the clan post the very same message. His replies to the message: "that some true shit. I see this a lot. This should change" and all that crap.

Why is it that the very same message gets 2 totally different replies? That should not be so. You have all right to agree or disagree on anyone's opinion, but not in a prejudice manner.


Example 2:

Some dude posts an application. The leader has acknowledged the individual and approves of him but only the leader knows him. Automatically everyone votes "yes, he must be okay"

Another dude posts an application. One weaker figure knows and recommends him, like a trainee or rookie, even a full member (but is not particularly active). The leader, co-leader, some head of position is away to make their approval of him or they don't know him. His application gets the responses: "cant vote, don't know you well", "get to know more people", "waiting on the leader has to say"

Hypocritical behavior....why vote yes to someone you don't know and then no to another you don't know just because some head didn't approve of him? Everyone that is here, should have the competence by now to assess a person by themselves without ever waiting on the opinion of a head for your own head to start working. That's not a united clan. That's a clan with overworked officials and blind-minded, prejudice followers.

I call no names, it would defeat my purpose of competence. Assess yourselves and curb this behavior. It is not welcomed here. You are free to do whatever you want, however you want within virtuous reasons.
Biased reasons ain't one of them.
