Additional Comments: I was once a part of ULK, but as players became more and more infrequent, so did my playing time. Last I checked, almost nobody I knew was online any servers I'd play on, so I have since then quit. Looking for a fresh start (and also being contacted by Evilspirit), I've decided to try my luck applying here. I'm looking for a good time, good friends, and nothing but mature, serious peers to call my clanmates.

The name is very familiar but aside that, I don't remember the character, otherwise, I'd probably vote rookie. Be that as it may, if you went through ULK back in the old days then its safe to say you should be a decent addition to the team but that's just my opinion

I remember doing some duels with you in XE, back in the days. You seemed mature and decent, judging by your app not much of that has changed :P
What worries me though, is that you've recently came back to the game, I'd need to see some level of activity before I vote. So basically, if I see your name around through the course of a few days it will be a positive vote. Neutral for now.

Anything to add from the old days? I had some RAAAAGE xD EVERYONE confused me and Ryuk, we are very different, and I have no idea of where he's at these days.
Definitely enjoyed stunting more than most anything else, Kingjad taught me, although he wasn't a part of any clans as far as I know. Icyrider was another guy who stunted with us pretty often, he was in ULK with me. Sephiroth taught me pretty much all of how to duel, but it's been a long while and I'm gonna be REAL rusty :P I was only TLK rank in ULK, just 1 rank above Trainee.
Also kind of a heads up, my girlfriend and I have been planning and saving up money for a trip to Southeast Asia. We'll be visiting Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. While we plan on only being gone for about 4-6 months (back in April-June 2017?), I can understand this being a reason to not accept me. I will be departing to Bangkok on the 1st of December, making somewhere around the 27-29th of November my last available days to play. As soon as we return, we have plans to save up and move to another state here in the U.S, but this will not hinder my playing time. Only during the move (maybe 5-7 days?) will I be inactive.

I am excited to at least play with you guys on the server, whether or not I'm a part of the clan, and I'm amazed and relieved to see some familiar names :3

do you remember TLKr.VanHeLsinG? tho you should start playing 0.4, you may dislike it in starting due to m4 spray and all those head-shots but will get use to it really soon.
tbh we have many members who are inactive, so you better join if you are really planning for a come back. spend time on forum at least if you can't play much.
I'll go with trainee to give it a fresh start.

Ah yeah, I remember you. I think maybe we never met ingame, but I remember you from the ULK forums. I guess you stuck out in my mind because I got confused between you and Ryuk a couple of times.
I seem to remember you were a good guy - and perhaps more mature than Ryuk actually. Having said that, ULK was a very different clan to what VU was and is now. We've always done things differently and continue to do so. From your app it looks like you'd like it fine here, but it's hard to say with certainty. What I'm talking about mainly is our clan ethos - we try to be inclusive, friendly and humble, which on all three accounts separates us from ULK. If you're looking for a gang who's going to roll around abusing others and starting drama, then this isn't the one for you.
As for the travelling thing, I don't think it matters. We don't place any requirements on our members to play, it is up to them how much they want to contribute. It goes without saying though that promotions in ranks only come with dedicated playtime and contribution to the clan, and so it will affect you more than it will affect the clan as a whole. Also, we love to have people here who have interesting lives and personalities - saving to travel South East Asia with your gf is fucking cool man, and I wish you all the best for the trip. I hope you're comfortable chatting about toilet issues with each other already, otherwise that coul get difficult ;D
Bearing in mind what I've said above, and that you've only just started playing again and there's a chance that you'll not enjoy 0.4, I think trainee would be a good rank for you.
