I think everyone knows vw will end with blue victorious, but I think alot of people are enjoying a playable, stable 0.4 beta server, and this is really good for vcmp as a whole.
Maybe you could extend it like a day or so? I think people would have alot of fun.

I just think it would be really good for vcmp as a whole if we kept this thing going so alot more people look forward to 0.4 and stick around after vw is over.

If stormeus can keep the server up then there should really not be a problem.
0.4 is a really cool client and deserves alot more attention than what it's currently getting.
And Seph; you worded your post wrong. You do not want to extend the event, but just keep the server playable for as long as possible.

The server is currently running indefinitely with some modifications:
- Points are no longer added to either team's scores.
- The costs of the Sea Sparrow and Top Fun van are fixed at $1500 and do not increase.
- A few miscellaneous bugfixes.

That'd be cool to have a stable 0.4 server with at least some players online. Probably worth adding more features like base rotations (1st island different fixed bases set/2nd or mixed etc.) and a timer for base rotations 30min/1h/other.
I've said it before but I'll say it again - I think it's highly necessary to move all players from 0.3zr2 to 0.4 asap. To do it:
-make an "official" release of 0.4 (current version is really good enough, non-official releasing simply leaves players at 0.3 which is going to nowhere, even though many participated in beta tests and played on 0.4 beta non-official servers, they currently have nowhere to play now but 0.3zr2 with lags and glitches, moreover most 0.3 servers are now dead and only like 3 have more than average 15 players playing)
-add some official stable (24/7) servers running 0.4 with basic DM/TDM gamemode (in fact LW already got 0.4 server but nobody plays there because some prefer shitty 0.3zr2 and most simply don't know about it because it's beta)
-add a reminder about 0.4 release to all server browsers, in 0.3zr2 browser add into the server name of 0.3zr2 servers some info about 0.4 (if possible) while not allowing players to join them
-add 0.4 server list
