My funny valentine is a great tune and Chet Baker is a legend Veteran, though I prefer Ben Webster's version:

As for jazz piano, here's one of my favourites from a true king of piano:

(Sadly youtube has neither of these songs)

Went to an amazing live musical performance about Edith Piaf yesterday. Such an outstanding personality with a story so hard..

Really beautiful. If you like it, check out the more famous Miles Davis version too. The Miles Davis version also has Bill Evans playing piano. The song became famous after Davis' groundbreaking album 'Kind of Blue'. Like a few of the songs on that album, who wrote Blue in Green is in dispute; Evans says he did, Davis says he did.

Either way, it is a great piece of music.

Yeah that song's a good effort, but of course not a scratch on the original; you can't really compete against Ray Charles. I found the same with all of Hugh Laurie's most recent album actually, it was a good effort, but it wasn't authentic and felt more like a tribute or 'covers band' type thing. He's English and white, he'll never quite get the bluesy sound that he's looking for.

Here's some recent stuff (This song is a bit more soul than jazz, but still):

and some not so recent stuff (1944):

And something from a true master of the piano, I prefer the original on which only a piano is heard and it's slightly more complex, but sadly youtube doesn't have it, so this will do:
