I think most of us would agree that we need a method to heal.
Here are a few alternatives:
#1
Stand in your own pickup for 10 seconds to full heal.

Like XE
#3
Same like XE, but it costs cash and works at only certain places
Places can be the team base or Hospitals and Pharmacies like LWs

Fuck heal.
It is cool as it is...kill some guy to get heal.

I think it should be on an automatic timer like XE as well, but probably longer so that anyone standing around to heal is making a definite trade-off when it comes to efficient and economic use of their time for earning points...
a guy standing around waiting to heal is not attacking or defending very effectively, so I think it's fair allowing players to heal like this

I meant the /c heal cmd like in new XE scripts.
The old "stand still to heal" contributes to script lag, so it should not be implemented in an event with large number of players. There is a high probability that it would cause massive warps from the server side. :)

yeh command wise or automatic timer idc, the key is that they must stand still for time period that is long enough to prevent them from healing in the middle of an attack/defense operation without getting killed or losing sight of their goal...
healing should only happen at lull moments, or the person should have to abandon their offensive or defensive post to go heal in safety if they think that's good for the team.

Imo to heal you must:
- No enemy player must be nearby
- Must be in your own base
- Pay something?

If players realize that the only way to heal is by killing an opponent, they will do it and that's what the organizers wanted right?

Would be cool to see some hospital and pharmacy wars over healing.

or dead engine ambulance respawning every 10~20 sec around hotspots, players will get in it to gain some hp :P

What about getting healed if someone reaches on a killing spree of 5 or more ??

We already have a system similar to that. You get healed an extra 10% for every 1 kill in your spree. E.g.
1 kill - 10% heal
2 kills - 20%
3 kills - 30%
etc.

I'll go with 1#, when someone want to abuse it, make the pickup count to 20 then you can heal your self again

Well,we can steal some drugs from the opposing team's base and then we can either transport them to our base or use some for our heal.

Wat about healing by food system (like in argonath server) 40 hp increase once and u need to stand still for 5-7 seconds ,500$ each and u can carry them with u and can give to your team-mates

i seriously dislike healing in combat, IMO you should get HP bonus for killing sprees, that's all
its annoying when there are like 3 guys pounding their guns at you and you're a lonely rambo, you unleash m60 fire and the HP of two goes below 20%...you kill the third one with a stubby quickly, then chase the 'escapers' - you meet them and they pwn you cause they already managed to heal...

I hate when i pwn someone with low HP to spare.
Later, some guy kills me with an ingram :(
And that happens much more frequently than what Marcell said :)
