Purpose of this: Homework for college

Are you in favour of capital punishment? Or against it?

It's a must, at least in my country. I can't imagine how serious a crime people would commit if capital punishment is abolished.

Capital punishments affects people's minds, also makes people think thrice before committing a possible crime. If the capital punishments aren't given, no example would be created that could insert fear into people's hearts, resulting in crimes often.
