So yeah..
We all know there isn't a soul for our beloved canines. As we know, to not contain a soul is to show apathy, and no emotion, but dogs are the true opposite. That's why we love them so much, that's why in movies, we often cry or sadden from watching a dog in confusion and bewilderment, mainly from losing someone or something they truly adore.
I just wanted to see you guys input of this because, I am baffled by this statement.
GO!

Check parts of the brain, emotions have nothing to do with the soul.

First of all, you didn't explain what you consider as a 'soul' is and how it's suppose to work.
The word 'soul', just like 'god' can have hundreds of different definitions.
-
Soul= a containment of a person allowing the same to have faith and to believe in a greater cause. That's my definition.

What do you mean by a greater cause?
-
god and only god, at least to me

What do you mean by a greater cause?
God or a supernatural force.

Humans have emotions, dogs have emotions; though they are not as complex. I don't believe in any type of 'soul'.

God or a supernatural force.
So to you a soul is the ability to have faith in stuff we don't understand.
And you know that dogs can't do so because...?

Their iq is too low. Go figure.

They seem to have faith in their owners, don't they?

Trust and faith are two different things.

So if some mad guy wants to put a hammer in your face, the dog bites the guy because he loves his owner and protects him, or because he has trust in the owner and risks his dog life for a bigger meat reward? ^-^
