My friend got a problem.

So... My friend bougt a Lenovo computer, and he screwed it up. He changed at "Switchable Graphics" from Mobile Intel Graphics, to some VGA things and now he must use UMA Graphics, and whenever he runs Switchable Graphics, his screen is blank. He called me, but I am not good at hardware, so my last hope are you, VUs & White Shadows!




The single problem he has is that the ATI Radeon display adapter is not working on UMA Graphics. I don't know what he has done, anyone experienced this before?

never had a laptop with dedicated gfx card 

did he tried reinstalling drivers?

Yeh my guess would update or reinstall the drivers in the first place. If that didn't work just reinstall windows, since if its a new laptop there isnt much on it I guess...
