Scripting Support / modifying SetTimer to SetTimer(funcname[],interval,repeating,playerid) in pawn

is there any way that i can edit the SetTimer in pawn to SetTimer(funcname[],interval,repeating,playerid)
i'm frustrated with this SetTimer ... pawn is an awesome language but lack of VCMP dev's interest into it has made it a dumb language .. damn .
