To me their culture revolves around reckless spending and imprudence. Like remote home security systems, how is an alarm gonna stop someone from busting through your window killing everyone in the house and running away for their lives after? Even if they're caught, the family is dead, damage already done. Why grilling the windows and doors to the outside not a priority with them is beyond me.
