  • What is VCA?
  • VCA is a module made by Murdock which adds a bunch of functions to VC:MP for you to use. VCA stands for Vice City Addons. You will need both a server module and a client file in order to use VCA correctly.
  • How do I install VCA?
  • Installing VCA is very simple, you download VCA from the download link above and put all the files into the root of your GTA: VC directory. To install the server module you will simply have to put the DLL file into the 'Modules' directory of your server and you're good to go.
  • What functions does VCA add to VC:MP?
  • You can find a list of all VCA functions and events on the wiki.
  • So, besides functions what else does VCA have to offer?
  • VCA also disables gaining specific weapons or health/armour from vehicles such as the Enforcer, Ambulance, Police and Caddy and offers small patches such as preventing the menu screen to pop up when minimizing the game, and removing the (useless) /c prefix for commands.
  • Can we expect any updates in the future?
  • Yes you can, at the moment we are very busy implementing new features and going trough the suggestion board and bug reports, the board can be found here.

It's basically a module that adds extra functionality on top VCMP.

But there's nothing in VCA that hasn't been done in VCO :P

The wiki pretty much explains everything.

CreateActor - Creates a living NPC with 100 HP, visible for everyone.

VCA adds more functions to VC:MP which allow cool stuffz ingame via scripting, and some more patches that remove a few useless things.

You will need both a server module and a client file in order to use VCA correctly.

To be able to use all the functions listed on the wiki, the server and the client should both have VCA installed.
However, if the server does not have the VCA module loaded, the patches VCA has implemented would still be applied to the game.
