A moment of extreme grief in not only the world of rock, but the world of music in general.
A powerful and inspiring voice has, unfortunately silenced itself today, and the words it spoke reflect on the person that was Chester Bennington more than ever, given the extremely saddening cause of death.
Suicide is the devil walking among us, they say.
I grew up to Chester's (and LP in general) powerful music. He's saved many people, but was unfortunately unable to save himself.
The resonance on his death just comes to show how influential he was as an artist. Everybody knew the guy.
May he rest in peace.

As a Rock/Metal fan i'm really surprised about it, he cannot be replaced.
Rest in peace Chester, thank you for those great songs like Numb, In the end, Crawling, One Step Closer, etc...
We'll miss you. :'(

Rip Chester along with Chris Cornell, they were good friends, Chester even sang at Chris' funeral: https://youtu.be/AiD9Ae30-C8
It should be noted that Chester took his life the day that would have been Chris' birthday :-\
