Biker Brawl - Game Mode Manual

Vice War - Biker Brawl is a 24 hour event, where several biker gangs will fight each other for the entire day in the Downtown district. The gang which earns most points after 24 hours, wins the event.



The Map Overlay:

The 3 Orange regions are the spawn regions around Downtown. Players can scroll through the spawn regions in skin selection and select the area where they want to spawn. They will spawn at a random location in vicinity of the selected area.

Note that, no spawn area belongs to a gang, so you might have an enemy spawning near you. However, you can always select a different area, if you believe survival in a particular region could be hard.

There are following 6 capturable bases have a checkpoint. The 6 bases are:
  • Downtown Ammunation
  • VAJ Finance Skyscraper
  • Fire Department of Vice City
  • Downtown Skyscraper
  • Moist Palms Hotel
  • Skumole Shack

Points
The team which earns most points in 24 hours wins. Points are earned by:
  • Killing: Each kill gives 1 point.
  • Surviving: Each death grants a point to your killer's team.
  • Bases: Each captured base generates 3 points per minute.
  • Sprees: Killing sprees give points equal to spree multiplier (5 Spree gives +5 points, 10 spree gives +10 points). The multiplier increases if your team captures more bases. So, capturing a base grants 2x spree bonus. Capturing 2 bases, grants 3x bonus.


Money
Weapons and health can be bought spending money. Money is earned by:
  • Killing: Each kill gives $100.
  • Surviving: Each death deducts -$20.
  • Bases: Each captured base generates $150 per minute, distributed among all online gang members equally.
  • Sprees: Killing sprees give money equal to spree multiplier (5 Spree gives +$500, 10 spree gives +$1000). The multiplier increases if your team captures more bases. So, capturing a base grants 2x cash bonus. Capturing 2 bases, grants 3x bonus.


Rally Bikes
  • A rally bike is a custom bike, which bears your gang's logo/emblem on a flag.
  • The rally bikes enables you to perform a Drive-By with SMG weapons.
  • The rally bikes grants you /heal bonus.
  • Each team starts with one rally bike, which spawns at the Biker Bar in Downtown.
  • When you capture a base, you gain an additional rally bike which spawns in that base. The bike gets removed if you lose the base.
  • You can not enter rally bikes of other teams.


Weapons
  • Weapons can be purchased by /wep command.
  • Players can also set free weapons as spawn weapons(/spawnwep), so they receive them on every spawn.
  • When a player dies with a weapon, he/she will respawn with the leftover ammo of that weapon. That means, you will keep your weapons even if you die or quit the server until you completely run out of it's ammo.

  • All other weapons are free of cost, except Minigun which is disabled.


Bases
  • The 6 bases shown in the Map Overlay are all equally valuable.
  • To capture a base, you need to stand on the checkpoint for 10 seconds.
  • Each base grants cumulative 3 points per minute.
  • The point tick rate is 20 seconds. So, every 20 seconds your team gains 1 point for a captured base cumulatively summing up as 3 points per minute.
  • Each base grants $150 per minute cumulatively distributed among all gang members online.
  • The money tick rate is 20 seconds. So, every 20 seconds your team gains $50 for a captured base cumulatively summing up as $150 per minute.
  • Each base that you control, multiplies the money, points and Health regain bonus granted to your team via Sprees.
  • Each base spawns a rally bike when captured. If an enemy captures the base, that bike is removed and respawned at the base as the enemy's bike.


Healing
  • You gain 30 x Spree Multiplier HP after every kill. This value increases depending on the number of bases controlled.
  • You can /heal for $100 when riding a bike. The bike needs to be stationary to use this command.
  • Healing while riding a rally bike is free.


Casualties
  • The number of deaths in your team per hour is called Casualties.
  • This count is reset to 0 after every hour.
  • If casualties increases above 200, your gang suffers certain disadvantages.
  • Disadvantage: The number of points gained by bases per minute is reduced to 1.
  • Disadvantage: The cash generated by bases per minute is reduced to $50.
  • Disadvantage: The cash generated by kills is halved.
  • Disadvantage: No spree bonuses are granted.

Changelog
The points and cash per minute granted by bases has been reduced by 10 times. Each captured base now grants 3 points and $600 per minute(previously 30 points and $3000).

The timer will run every 20 seconds, so technically your team will gain 1 point and $200 every 20 seconds for each captured base.

If your team is hit by the Casualties disadvantage, the points per minute changes to 1 and cash changes to $200. Technically, when affected by casualties every 20th and 40th second will grant you nothing, hence leading to the above mentioned numbers.

Changelog
The cash earned from bases have been reduced further to a 4x reduction. It has come to our attention during private beta testing that the current rate make things too easy and will inhibit competition. Therefore:

Cash earned from bases have been reduced from $600 per minute per base ($200 every 20 sec) to $150 per minute per base ($50 every 20 sec). Similarly, under the Casualties Penalty, the rate has been reduced from $200 per minute per base to $50 per minute per base.
